About Carla
I am experienced in providing occupational therapy and case management services to both children and adults. I have helped people with a range of injuries, mental illnesses and medical conditions (such as cancer) achieve their treatment and rehabilitation goals, such as returning to work . I have a particular interest in providing case management services for people with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and mental health conditions.
I am a sessional university lecturer and have taught Master of Occupational Therapy students at Bond University and the University of Queensland since 2018. I am a PhD candidate and am currently conducting research in the field of traumatic brain injury and return to work as it is an area of interest.
I am registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA), have a Blue Card (working with children check), and NDIS Worker Screening card. I am an accredited Mental Health First Aider.
My Services
I am a mobile therapist and am able to see clients who live in Brisbane, Ipswich, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Northern NSW and Toowoomba. I am also able to service clients who reside in regional areas or interstate.
I have worked with multiple insurers in addition to private clients, across Queensland and New South Wales.
